About

5-Axis Water Jet Cutting

As one of the first companies to offer water jet cutting and machining services in Queensland we offer decades of experience in high pressure water cutting.

5-axis water jet cutting is superior to traditional 3-axis water jet cutting as it can create linear two-dimensional, as well three-dimensional cuts. A 5-axis water jet cutter can produce complex cutting angles with taper control in addition to bevels and chamfers.

Our specialised 5-axis water jet cutter is capable of meeting strict tolerances, is fast, precise and can cut hard or soft materials of any volume.

Utilising 5-axis head precision water jet cutting you can benefit from greater cutting accuracy and faster production times.

Garnet Water Jet Cutting

By utilising our 5-axis water jet garnet cutter, less dual processing is required meaning greater cost savings for your project and company. Our garnet waterjet cutter is designed for harder, more difficult materials such as laminated shims, stone, metals, engineering plastics, and Armour Plate. For metals we can cut 2850mm x 1450mm x 110mm.

Specialised Water Jet Cutting Applications

The water jet cutting process lends itself to multiple applications due to its ability to cut small or large slots and holes in a variety of thicknesses and grades of material. Unlike heat-based methods like laser or flame cutting, this process reduces machining time and leaves no heat-affected areas.

The precision cutting stream is formed by ultra high pressurised water producing accurate, distortion free results with smooth, clean-edged finishes. Individual requirements can be programmed into the machines, enabling both best quality and price.
